Taylor Perron, Graduate Student Counseling Intern

I am a firm believer that everyone can benefit from counseling. Whatever your life stage or circumstances, I believe meaningful change is possible and we can work together to support it. Whether you’re navigating life’s difficulties or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, counseling can be a powerful space for growth. In session I aim to create a safe, supportive
environment where all clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to explore who they are. I bring curiosity, empathy, and genuine care into every session, and I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is an essential aspect for healing and insight. While my work often centers on themes of self-awareness, connection, agency, meaning, and authenticity, I tailor each session to your unique needs by integrating emotional, intellectual, social, physical, and spiritual aspects into your counseling experience.
As a master’s-level graduate student in the Counselor Education program at Boise State University, I have experience working with clients navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, identity development, and life stressors. Whether I’m working with children, adolescents, or adults, my goal is always to build a relationship based on trust, acceptance, and respect. Above all, I aim to
walk alongside clients as they uncover their own capacity for growth and understanding.
